Cute Angel Desk Buddy | Lumi/Luna - Guardian Angel for kids

Lumi and Luna are a pair of little angels I sculpt by hand at home in Ontario, from cold porcelain clay — an air-dry clay I make myself from cornstarch, glue, vinegar, oil and paper napkins. One has a science theme and the other math, so they are meant to sit on a desk and keep company through homework or a long study session — a companion for a student or an older child rather than a toy for a small one.

They air dry for a few days, then I hand paint each one with acrylics or soft pastels and seal it. Since they are handmade, slight differences between pieces are normal, and I think that adds to the charm.

These are decorative desk pieces, not toys. They are not food safe and are not suitable for young children or pets, as small sculpted parts can break off.
